French artist Sylvie Covey is a professional artist, printmaker, and teacher.

She creates botanical prints, handmade on 100 % silk, using tannin and natural dyes from plants and roots, producing a sophisticated palette of colors and design. Fresh leaves and flowers, chosen for their tannin content, are artistically composed and pressed onto the prepared silk, before a steaming process. The result is a permanent botanical print on silk.
